Starting in the fall of 2021 as a two piece (Kana and Benji), Shattered Glass made a name for themselves by doing metal and rock covers. In 2022 the band added Max on keys, bass and vocals. The band continues to shred heavy tunes even taking pop songs and rewriting them to fit their project.
Kana
Kana is a multi-instrumentalist from Durham and Portland, mogstly playing drums, bass and guitar. Some of his favorite artists are MF doom, System of a Down, and Tyler The Creator. Kana has been doing MAMM since 2021.
Max
Hi my name is Max and I live in Portland and recently moved here from Boston. I play bass, piano and do vocals. I’m also a trained violinist and I’ve been studying music for 4 years. I joined the band in October 2022. I love drawing and designing logos and look forward to doing some for Shattered Glass. My favorite bands are Green Day, Gorillaz, The Pixies, Rage Against the Machine and Black Sabbath. I’m looking forward to playing many many more shows in my future!
