Adult BANDS
MAMM isn’t just for kids anymore! The guitar in the corner, the piano in the living room, the drums in the basement - can’t get loud enough at home? Join an Adult MAMM Band! Adults are matched into a band, choose songs, and rehearse once a week for 75 minutes with an instructor for an 8-week session. MAMM will provide PA gear, drums, and keyboard and will schedule a final show for each session at a Portland venue. Rehearsals are scheduled on the same day & time for the duration of the 8-week session.
WHEN
Weekly 75m rehearsals are held in the evenings M-F during each 8-week session. Daytime rehearsals may be available.
Your band will be scheduled on a day and time that works for you and your bandmates.
SESSION DATES
Session I: September 5 - October 30 / Final show November 1 at The Apohadion
Session II: November 4 - January 17 / Final show January 17 at SPACE // No rehearsals the weeks of 11/25, 12/23, or 12/30
Session III: January 27 - March 28 / Final show March 29 at Oxbow // No rehearsals the week of 2/17
Session IV: April 7 - June 6 / Final show June 8 at Resurgam // No rehearsals the week of 4/21
WHERE
Rehearsals are held at our 144 Fore St. location in Portland.
TUITION
Tuition for each 8-week session is $300.
The annual registration fee is $60. This fee covers registration for all MAMM programs for anyone in your household during the 2024-25 school year.
Payment is due in full before your first rehearsal. If you need to set up a payment plan, please inquire.
