Band Members
Ria
Ria is a student from Portland ME. She started taking music lessons when she was seven and continued until she was ten. Ria loves to play music with her band and is very happy to be in MAMM! She loves to listen to Elton John, The Beatles, Queen, 21 Pilots, and Milky Chance. She is inspired by quotes like:
“Works of art make rules; rules do not make works of art.” – Claude Debussy.
She likes to remind herself that there are no limits to how good you can be, it’s the limits you make for yourself that hold you back. “1951 has been such a blessing, I am very thankful to have met my amazing band mates and friends…” Ria remarked. Right now the band is working on new songs. She is very proud to be the lead singer in the band and hopes to keep playing with her friends for as long as she can.
Anna
Anna lives in Portland Maine and goes to North Yarmouth Academy. Anna has been taking private lessons with Richard Corson for now 4 years. She loves the artists Harry styles, Taylor Swift and The Beatles. Her favorite song to play in the band right now is Twist and Shout. One of Anna's favorite quotes by a musician is:
“I would rather write 10,000 notes than a single letter of the alphabet.” - Beethoven
Anna loves playing with the five figures as much as she loves playing the guitar!
Piper
I live in Portland, Maine and go to a remote academy, and I play mostly drums. I was about 5 when I started to learn how to play an instrument. These are some of my favorite bands/artists: Cage The Elephant, Arctic Monkeys, and The Beatles. My favorite song to play in the band is crazy.

Natalie
Natalie enjoys playing bass guitar and attends Scarborough Middle School. She takes private lessons for bass guitar with Xander Nelson! Her favorite artists are The Beatles, Elton John, and Queen. Her favorite song right now that she is playing with The Five Figures is Another Brick in the Wall. Her favorite quote about music is:
