Noah
Noah Lyford is the vocalist/pianist of ‘Up In The Air’, a prestigious band of Scarborough’s best. Noah learned piano very early on in his life and has been singing for as long as he can remember. Noah’s music taste is mainly a mix of folk, Americana, indie, alt, and pop rock. Favorite artists include Brandi Carlile, Ben Folds, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Owen
Owen Keller attends Scarborough High School. He enjoys acting in a wide variety of theater productions, as well as reading and writing. He's a founding member of Up in the Air, where he acts as its rhythm guitarist. His favorite bands include The Cure, Whirr, Slowdive, and Weezer, and he loves playing guitar with some of his closest friends.
Cormac
Cormac’s favorite music quote is “Bringing an Iggy Pop sensibility to a Ziggy Stardust industry” (author unknown). Cormac loves bands like Radiohead and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and they have been playing guitar for 3 years. Beyond music, they’re a big fan of theater as well as movies.
Nathan
Nate has lived in Maine his whole life and started playing drums and doing MAMM in 2021. He mostly listens to rock and metal music but enjoys seeing all kinds of local bands. Some of his favorite bands are Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.
Thomas
Thomas was born in Chicago and moved around a ton before reaching Portland ME. His first musical instrument was violin at age 5. He picked up the electric guitar when he was 12 and played a guitar video game with it, before transitioning to learning songs on his own. Thomas loves soft rock and indie artists like Mac Demarco and Vacations. He joined Up In The Air in 2022, and his favorite MAMM memory was performing at Carnaval. When he isn't playing guitar, Thomas enjoys hockey and watching movies.
