29 Joules is an experimental, mutli-genre trio. Their original music draws from elements of hip-hop, pop, and R&B, combining rock instrumentation with electronic synthesis.

Hi! I’m Antonio. I’m from Portland. I play guitar and sing. I’ve been singing since I was practically a baby, but I’ve been playing guitar for about a year now. I started at MAMM at 10 years old and it’s been a great safe space for me. My favorite band is Polyphia (and 29 Joules but I’m not gonna be narcissistic). I’ve spent a lot of time honing my craft and I hope people like what I put out there.

Hi I’m Rosa! I’m from Portland. I am a multi-instrumentalist but in the band I’m in now (29 Joules) I play bass and synth. I’ve been playing music for as long as I can remember. I’ve been doing MAMM since I was 9 and it’s just been an awesome place to help me grow as a musician!
Max
Max has been playing piano since age 6 and taking lessons at MAMM since age 7. Now they play several instruments, but primarily focus on synthesizer and production. Their favorite artists include Jacob Collier, Daniel Caesar, Phoebe Bridgers, Radiohead, 100 gecs, and Playboi Carti. “Beans, Starbucks,” - Frank Ocean.
